Position Overview

As a Product Portfolio Manager for McKissock Learning, part of Colibri Group, you are accountable for the performance, growth, and long-term health of a defined portfolio of professional education products. You own the portfolio end-to-end: what we build, why we build it, how it performs, and how it evolves to meet the needs of the professions we serve.

This is a hands-on, outcomes-driven role. You operate deep in the data, understand the professional education markets we serve, and partner closely across the business to make clear, ROI-driven tradeoffs. You are not just managing products, you are building a portfolio that drives revenue, increases customer lifetime value, and advances professional careers.
If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, execution, and market insight, and enjoy owning outcomes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own the portfolio strategy, performance, and lifecycle management for assigned professional education products, with clear accountability for revenue and growth.
  • Identify and prioritize new product, bundle, pricing, and Membership opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, and financial impact.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle - from concept and business case through launch, optimization, and retirement.
  • Analyze portfolio performance using KPI's such revenue, enrollments, utilization, renewals, and margin to inform decisions.
  • Partner closely with curriculum and compliance teams to ensure offerings meet professional standards, licensure requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to support product positioning, go-to-market execution, and sales enablement.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and the business, incorporating feedback and insights into the portfolio decisions.
  • Present portfolio insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years in product management, portfolio management, sales, product marketing management or strategy roles
  • Experience in professional and/or higher education technology, training, credentialing, or regulated markets required
  • Proven success managing revenue-generating products or portfolios
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience with LMS platforms, digital education products, or subscription models
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment

Colibri Group welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, and we understand that not every candidate will meet every requirement listed in the job description. Research has shown that women and people of color may be less likely to apply to jobs unless they feel they meet every qualification, and we want to actively combat this bias in our hiring process. If you're excited about the role and believe you have the skills and experience to contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply, even if your background doesn't align perfectly with every qualification listed. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we believe that diversity of perspectives and experiences is essential to our success. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another position within our organization. Don't hesitate to take the leap and apply today!
