Position Overview
The Product Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in delivering Colibri’s mission: transforming careers through education. By building high-impact, market-aligned professional education portfolios, this role ensures learners receive relevant, compliant, and career-advancing education, while driving sustainable growth for the business.
VOC & Market Discovery: These PMs spend significant time conducting 1-on-1 customer interviews, ethnography, and analyzing competitive intelligence to identify unmet needs.
Product-Market Fit (PMF): Particularly in growth teams, PMs focus on experimentation, validating assumptions, and iterating quickly to find sustainable product-market fit rather than just delivering features.
Business Strategy & ROI: They define the product roadmap based on OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), revenue targets, and customer churn metrics rather than velocity.
Strategic Prioritization: Instead of merely prioritizing a backlog, they prioritize customer problems that align with high-level business goals.

- Time-to-Market for New Offerings
- Portfolio Health & Rationalization
- Own portfolio revenue targets and growth plans
- Build and defend business cases for new products and investments
- Forecast performance based on market dynamics and lifecycle trends
- Partner with Finance to monitor margins, pricing, and portfolio ROI
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years in product management, portfolio management, sales, product marketing management or strategy roles
- Experience in professional and/or higher education, training, credentialing, or regulated markets preferred
- Proven success managing revenue-generating products or portfolios
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Experience with LMS platforms, digital education products, or subscription models
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
