About the Role:
Synergy seeks a Power Apps Developer to join our team on an IT business support services contract supporting our federal client. The Power Apps Developer will work on an agile team to lead SharePoint/O365 development and support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Executes tasks for maintenance, development (and architecture design) or migration in the scope, schedule, and budget of SharePoint projects, including but not limited to: Integration and customization of SharePoint products and features using M365, especially SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Experience with building modern SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features with an emphasis on modern design.
- Develop workflows using Power Automate Flow.
- Design and develop dashboards and reports using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate when appropriate.
- Create and customize forms using Power Apps Canvas Apps.
- Provide end-user technical support.
- Migrate SharePoint features and data with ShareGate.
- Prepare and deliver SharePoint end user training materials or instructions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Power Platform Developer, and SharePoint Architect or Developer preferred
- Must effectively prioritize work, troubleshoot issues, communicate effectively and complete tasks on time.
- Competency implementing ITIL V4 best practices.
- Overall technical knowledge of SAP software with ability to review and provide feedback on support documents.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum development methodology.
- Ability to understand business models and operational risk.
- Analytical ability, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and strong sense of task ownership.
- Ownership over regular, consistent, and proactive communications with various levels of government stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate amongst multiple different team types, and own responsibility for coordinating and communicating multiple tasks across multiple teams supporting a variety of different applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience customizing and building Accessible SharePoint products and features, especially with Section 508 requirements.
- Experience with Information Architecture and/or User Interface Design (e.g., wireframes, mockups, etc.)
- Experience in designing, developing, and integrating Tableau dashboards in SharePoint
- Experience in designing and integrating Power BI dashboards in SharePoint
- Experience using PowerShell, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or ShareGate +Nintex
- Experience with Agile development
- Proficient with requirements gathering tools. Atlassian experience a plus.
- Experience with federal government systems.

Target Salary Range
Compensation for roles at Synergy is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the requirements of the role; level of experience; education and certifications; the individual’s combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities; as well as alignment with market data, federal and state laws, and other business and contract considerations. The estimated pay range for this position is: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and represent just one component of Synergy’s total compensation package for employees.
