Join a team that collaborates with industry giants like Intel, Dell, NVIDIA and Equinix to accelerate AI training, provide cutting-edge cloud services, and optimize content delivery.
If you are passionate about transforming the internet and contributing to cutting-edge innovations, come join us at Gcore!

We are over 550 professionals and currently looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer (Cloud & AI).
You’ll be the primary technical lead for all customers and prospects in the Americas, bridging the gap between commercial and technical conversations. This hybrid role combines presales solution architecture, technical account management, and customer success for Gcore’s CPU and GPU infrastructure offerings.

This position requires initiative, independence, and strong ownership — you’ll operate autonomously in your time zone, coordinating with sales and product teams in Europe. It’s an opportunity to build and lead technical engagement across North and South America as Gcore scales rapidly in the region.

You’ll also have the opportunity to represent Gcore at major AI and cloud expos, engaging with industry leaders, becoming a technical evangelist, and staying at the forefront of modern AI technologies.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead technical expert for Gcore’s compute and GPU products across the Americas.
  • Support sales opportunities through solution design, sizing, and architecture recommendations.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demos, and proofs of concept for enterprise customers.
  • Act as technical account manager for existing clients — ensuring smooth onboarding, performance optimization, and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate product requirements to the engineering and product teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to create region-specific materials (case studies, benchmarks, webinars).
  • Represent Gcore at industry expos and conferences, building relationships and showcasing technical leadership.
  • Operate with minimal supervision — proactively identify opportunities, initiate discussions, and drive deals to completion.

Qualifications

We Expect You to Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or technical account management.
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and GPU/AI workloads.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    - GPU acceleration (NVIDIA, AMD)
    - AI inference frameworks (PyTorch, TensorRT, ONNX Runtime)
    - Cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.)
    - Networking fundamentals (BGP, private peering, CDN concepts)
  • Proven ability to operate independently and manage enterprise accounts across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills — both technical and customer-facing.
  • Experience presenting at industry events, webinars, or conferences is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish or Portuguese a plus).
  • Based in Americas time zone (U.S., Canada, or LATAM).
