EverQuote is hiring Pre Sales Representative (PSR) to join our team. The PSR will engage potential clients in phone conversations on the front end of the sales process while qualifying them to continue the quoting process with an agent. The mission of PSRs is to ensure each client is ready to be connected with an agent to complete the quoting process and then introduce and connect the client with an agent.

To be eligible for this remote role, you must be physically located within the United States. 

Compensation: $13.00/hr + up to $200 weekly spiff

What you’ll do:

  • Answering inbound calls or making outbound calls, engaging leads in conversation
  • Using your strong communication skills to build a rapport with potential clients
  • Making quick decisions to qualify the potential client and transfer to a live agent
  • Taking the lead in introducing the potential client with the appropriate agent
  • Working to reach weekly goals and quality transfer rates
  • Pivoting quickly with script, consumer engagement and process changes

Who you are:

  • Possess top-notch communication skills and are viewed as friendly and helpful on the phone
  • Have strong people skills and a passion to connect others
  • Have ability to speak clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative
  • Demonstrate tenacity and willingness to persevere through calls
  • Ability to learn relevant phone and computer platforms quickly
  • Prior experience with phone sales or call center work a plus
