Scope of Work:

Perform maintenance, and inspection of the construction and mining equipment, engine or other assets as assigned.  Maintenance is to be performed as defined by each manufacture’s recommended schedule.  Dispose of waste oils, fluids and filters in accordance to State and Company regulations.  Assists senior level Lube Technicians wherever required and observes closely to gain knowledge.  While working as a PM Technician - Class I, you will be working in an OJT status.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on construction type equipment
  • Must do service reports, timecards, and other paperwork in a legible, understandable manner
  • Ensure that all jobs working on are completed, and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manor
  • Make sure that the work site space that was utilized is cleaned after every job is finished
  • Must take advantage of all service schools and training programs that are offered by the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

  • Must have a understanding of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall

business and its’ objectives

  • Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier
  • Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to bend and twist several times a day
  • Must have the ability to affectively and safely operate and test equipment

Working Conditions:

  • Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Weekend hours as necessary
  • May require work in inclement weather conditions and/or hazardous work environments
  • Some temporary adjustments to hour of operation, as work requires
