The Copack Pricing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the quoting process for new contract manufacturing opportunities. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate, timely, and competitive quotes are delivered to potential customers.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and analyze contract manufacturing, co-pack or kitting requests for quotes (RFQs) from prospective and existing clients.
- Gather and interpret all necessary technical documentation, drawings, and specifications required for quoting.
- Collaborate with internal teams—such as PAG, procurement, production, and quality assurance—to collect cost estimates for materials, labor, tooling, and overhead.
- Maintain detailed records of all quoting activities, including cost breakdowns, assumptions, and correspondence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of copack, kitting or contract manufacturing experience related to pricing and/or quoting required
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with proficiency in cost modeling and margin analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
