Principal Architect – Policy Administration (P&C Insurance)
This is a Remote First position which can be performed from most locations in the US but requires East Coast working hours
Travel: Required based on client and project needs
Why This Role Exists
Majesco is modernizing how insurers design, deliver, and operate core systems. This Principal Architect role sits between solution strategy and hands-on technical leadership, focused on Policy Administration implementations in the Property & Casualty space.
You’ll be part of a broader team helping clients evolve their platforms, including how emerging AI-enabled capabilities can simplify workflows, improve decision-making, and reduce operational friction. This is a client-facing role for someone who can solve complex problems, guide teams, and communicate clearly with business and IT leaders.
Job Overview
- Act as a trusted technical and architectural advisor for Policy Administration implementations across P&C lines of business
- Lead solution design while staying close to the technology to help resolve the most complex challenges
- Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to surface risks early, align expectations, and keep work moving forward
- Facilitate requirements, design, and solution review discussions with business and IT stakeholders
- Partner with leadership to navigate complex delivery, customer, or organizational considerations that impact client outcomes and long-term relationships
- Drive structured issue resolution by coordinating internal teams, prioritizing work, addressing root causes, and improving long-term system stability
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to influence platform direction and implementation quality
- Contribute to modernization efforts, including cloud-based deployments and AI-enabled enhancements to policy administration workflows
- Participate in team initiatives exploring how AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation can be responsibly applied in insurance platforms
All About You
- 7 to 10 plus years of experience in enterprise software implementation or delivery
- 3 plus years of hands-on experience with Policy Administration platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, Majesco, or similar)
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, especially policy and underwriting
- Experience leading solution design or technical workstreams on client-facing projects
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with business and IT leaders
- Solid working knowledge of enterprise technology concepts, including:
- Java-based applications (conceptual understanding)
- APIs and integration patterns
- XML, relational databases, and reporting tools
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (exposure preferred)
- Comfort working in Agile delivery environments
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, especially around AI-driven capabilities in insurance technology

What Majesco Offers:
Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Majesco considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
