The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of IT Architecture & Enterprise Services team, you will provide hands-on technical leadership for building and operating enterprise-scale data pipelines and data platforms that enable enterprise reporting, analytics, and insights. This role owns delivery end-to-end and ensures production reliability, strong engineering discipline, and robust CI/CD practices.


Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and delivery of scalable, resilient data pipelines for enterprise analytics and reporting
  • Own end-to-end execution from requirements and design through deployment and production support
  • Serve as technical lead and subject matter expert for data engineering standards and solutions
  • Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and BI teams to translate business and regulatory needs into technical solutions
  • Mentor data engineers; conduct design and code reviews across onshore and offshore teams
  • Ensure operational excellence through incident, change, and release management practices
  • Embed data quality, reconciliation, security, and risk controls into engineering workflows
  • Drive modernization and automation of legacy data processes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or data integration roles
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SQL
  • Strong experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
  • Experience with Talend or similar enterprise ETL / ELT tools
  • Conceptual understanding of data visualization tools like Power BI or similar.
  • Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines for data or database deployments (e.g., Jenkins, Liquibase)
  • Experience working in Agile / SDLC delivery environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions
  • Experience in regulated or production-critical enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Jira, source control, and release governance processes
  • Prior experience leading distributed or hybrid teams across multiple locations.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. IT Architecture and Enterprise Services are responsible for enabling digital transformation of DTCC. The group manages complexity of the technology landscape within DTCC and enhances agility, robustness and security of the technology footprint. It does so by serving as the focal point for all technology architectural activities in the organization as well as engineering a portfolio of foundational technology assets to enable our digital transformation.
