We need your talent, motivation, and vision as a Software Engineer to join our Dallas team, developing Next Generation Electronic Systems Products and Solutions. BAE Systems, at our Dallas site, is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth in our product line. We are looking for talented Software professionals to help us create the world's most advanced solutions in areas including Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning and Electronic Attack for our defense related customers. For this position, we are looking for a Software Engineer to apply her/his skills to developing high-quality, real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms.

Because of the need for consistent onsite collaboration, this role will be conducted at a BAE Systems facility a majority of the time. This does allow for the possibility of a hybrid work schedule dependent on current assignments and program needs.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering a minimum 6+ years of related experience, or 20 years equivalent work experience in a high-tech manufacturing and engineering environment
Experience with Object Oriented design, software development practices, and implementation in C/C++/Python or other high-level Object Oriented languages
Experience developing software in a Linux environment
Willingness to perform a wide variety of related tasks
Experience developing applications that cover several of: distributed, multi-threaded, real time, embedded, low latency, device control, or Software Defined Radios (SDR)
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with PetaLinux
Experience with Linux Device Drivers
Networking experience
GUI design and implementation
Experience with digital down conversion, demodulation, FFTs, other digital techniques
Experience with test equipment (signal generator, oscilloscope, etc)
Experience with LabVIEW and/or CVI/LabWindows
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
