The Impact of a Principal Engagement Manager to Coupa:

As a Principal Engagement Manager at Coupa, you will implement the Coupa solution at various client sites. Whether the projects are executed directly by the Professional Services team or in collaboration with our network of implementation partners, you will ensure the successful 'go-live' of the customer.

As the ambassador of system expertise and best practices aligned with customer business goals, you will manage reporting, risk analysis, and resource alignment for project delivery, both individually and collaboratively on and off client sites, with potential travel up to 50% of the time.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish robust partnerships with customers and colleagues, guiding them towards their goals for a successful and timely implementation.
  • Take the lead in all implementation phases, from mobilization to deployment.
  • Lead discussions on process optimization and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Coupa services partners throughout the implementation.
  • Engage customers in strategic business need discussions beyond feature/function basics.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise, demonstrate the full Coupa platform, and tailor implementations to meet unique customer business needs.

What You Will Bring to Coupa

  • Highly desirable experience with Procure to Pay processes.
  • Proven systems applications consulting experience, either internally or externally.
  • Strong client management skills for successful go-live implementations, preferably in procurement, AP, and/or Expense Management.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and familiarity with financial accounting, customer management, and sales force automation software.
  • Previous senior consulting expertise with applications like Ariba, Concur, NetSuite, Basware, OB10, Salesforce.com, Workday, Great Plains, ACT, Oracle, SAP, coupled with strong communication skills.

The estimated pay range for this role is $152,000 - $198,000


The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
