About ZapierWe’re humans who simply think computers should do more work. At Zapier, we’re not just making software, we’re building a platform to help millions of businesses globally scale with automation and AI. Our mission is to make automation work for everyone by delivering products that delight our customers. You’ll collaborate with brilliant people, use the latest tools, and leverage the flexibility of remote work. Your work will directly fuel our customers’ success, and as they grow, so will you.
Job DescriptionZapier is hiring a Growth Lead to drive expansion, usage, and pipeline across mid-market and enterprise segments. This is an individual-contributor role with strong cross-functional leadership and authority — you’ll set strategy, own execution, and run experiments across marketing channels to unify our PLG and SLG motions. If you want to do high-leverage work at a profitable, fast-growing company, read on.
About YouYou’ve run growth experiments using signals like PLG product data, and/or external.
You’re a high agency IC who leads without direct reports — you own prioritization and execution and influence broadly across Product, Demand Gen, Ads, Web, RevOps, Sales, Data, and Finance.
You’ve run experiments using PLG product signals and/or external account signals and turned them into outbound, in-product, web, and/or ad plays..
You pair creativity and “hackiness” with strong data rigor — you prototype fast, analyze lift, and repeat.
You bring commercial rigor: modeling, scenario planning, and impact assessment are second nature.
You think in loops, inputs, and constraints (not one-off tactics) and thrive in ambiguity.
You communicate clearly and drive alignment across complex stakeholders.
You have an analytical background (which can look like a lot of things on a resume), and have worked in growth marketing, demand gen, product growth, RevOps, or CS.
You have hands-on experience with demand-gen and outbound stacks, web/CMS experimentation, and signal-based tooling (examples: Clay, HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach, LeadIQ, Waterfall IO, CMS platforms), but proven signal-driven experiment experience is more important than exact tools.
Own Growth Experiments & measurement. Own a growth roadmap that balances fast learning with long-term bets; obsess over measurement quality and repeatability so the team can scale successful plays. Move quickly to source, prioritize, and drive high impact experiments across channels (ads, web, email, outbound, direct mail, in-app, social).
Create signal-driven plays. Translate internal product signals (feature usage, AI adoption, account behaviors) and external signals into targeted experiments.
Own execution (mostly). Run experiments hands-on with Demand Gen, Ads, Web, and RevOps. Some experiments you’ll shape and report on for other teams; some you’ll execute yourself.
Cross-functional partnership & influence. Work closely with Product, Data, Marketing (multiple functions), and RevOps to improve instrumentation, accelerate experimentation velocity, and forecast and track impact.
Funnel improvement & playbooks. Identify friction across the PLG → SLG funnel and drive cross-functional fixes; build high-leverage playbooks for scaling new products, features, and enterprise motions.
Success signals / metrics. Clear, measurable increases in upmarket pipeline volume and engagement from target buyer personas; rapid identification of product signals that predict upgrade/expansion; a repeatable experiment cadence and playbook that scales across segments.
Org context & reporting. IC role reporting to Head of Enterprise marketing; you’ll work across ~5–6 cross-functional partners and have discretion over prioritization without direct people management.
The anticipated application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later, or if the position is filled.
Even though we’re an all-remote company, we still need to be thoughtful about where we have Zapiens working. Check out this resource for a list of countries where we currently cannot have Zapiens permanently working.
