As a recognized leader in providing Private Markets Solutions to clients across the globe, we manage approximately $145.6B in discretionary assets under management and $859.8B in non-discretionary assets under management, as of September 30, 2025.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a driven and energetic salesperson to become a member of our highly skilled sales team.  Your primary responsibility will be driving sales across intermediary private wealth channels. You’ll work daily to help provide valuable market insight, portfolio construction guidance, and investment product solutions to Financial Advisors and their clients by representing Hamilton Lane and our products. 
 

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage and grow a sales territory, including:
    • Managing the sales process for new prospects uncovered in the region through prospecting efforts
    • A high expected level of sales activity, through face-to-face meetings, video conferences and direct telephone conversations.
    • Interfacing with senior team members in the coordination of internal and external prospect meetings.
    • Leveraging existing relationships and network to ensure immediate production
  • Demonstrate a mastery of skills such as:
    • Outstanding consultative sales and communication
    • Active listening
    • Advanced customer service
    • Ability to represent multiple product offerings
    • Depth of investment, portfolio, and product knowledge
    • Ability to uncover and qualify new opportunities
    • Commitment to constant self-improvement and exhibit a competitive drive
    • Extremely resourceful, organized, and ability to prioritize multiple priorities
    • A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations
    • The ability to quickly build trust and relationships
    • The ability to “break down” barriers to entry
       

Your background will include:

  • 5+ years of financial services sales with strong relationships in RIA, Wirehouses, and Independent Broker Dealers.
  • Private markets experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an area of concentration in Finance, Business, Management, or Communication
  • Series 6 or 7 and 63 required with a clean U4
  • Strong communication skills; in-person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Excellent priority management

Salary for this position is $125000-$175000 per year. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
