The Product Delivery team, an integral part of US Canadian Markets Operations, is responsible for delivering technical payment products to our global partners. The Principal Product Delivery Manager will join the team to lead the delivery of these technical products within the Americas region.
Responsibilities
- Execute strategy for advanced payment products including EMV, Transit, 3DS (3 D Secure) and Digital payments with a variety of payment partners (Issuers, Acquirers, Network Alliances, Gateway, etc.)
- Work closely with business partners to identify market requirements to be incorporated into the products and support teams as they promote products and services to clients
- Provide technical EMV support including analyzing terminal EMV certifications and the creation of EMV Card Personalization Profiles
- Ensure product delivery goals are met by providing SME (Subject Matter Expert) support to internal and external partners to deliver against the strategy
- Collaborate across teams to ensure appropriate tracking of metrics, reporting, project status. Assess opportunities to improve product delivery processes and develop efficiency programs
- Represents Discover Network at industry and client events and prepare and deliver SME-level presentations to multiple levels of internal and external management
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 5 years of experience in EMV, including EMV Issuing Payments, Certification methodologies, Smart Cards, Contactless Near-Field Communication (NFC) and Digital payments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science
- 6+ years of experience in EMV, including EMV Issuing Payments, Certification methodologies, Smart Cards, Contactless NFC and Digital payments
- Experience in payment networks
