Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to and evolve a scalable product messaging system
Help define and maintain Circle's cross-pillar messaging architecture, including narrative hierarchy, value pillars and proof points. Ensure the system is practical, adopted, and flexible enough to support diverse products while maintaining a coherent company story. - Develop and maintain ICPs and personas
Define Ideal Customer Profiles and persona frameworks that are shared across product pillars and used consistently by Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships. Ensure personas are grounded in customer insights, clearly documented, and actively used to inform messaging, positioning, and go-to-market decisions. - Own and steward core PMM artifacts (PMM Coda & master pitch deck)
Act as the owner of Circle's central PMM knowledge base and master pitch narrative. Define standards, structure, and update cadence; establish clear ownership across the PMM team; and ensure these artifacts remain accurate, aligned, and executive-ready. This responsibility emphasizes governance, quality, and scalability rather than day-to-day content production. - Develop cross-pillar product marketing frameworks
Create and operationalize shared frameworks that span product pillars, such as positioning templates, naming and packaging principles, segmentation models, and messaging review processes. Partner with pillar PMMs to pilot these frameworks and drive adoption across the organization. - Enable the Product Marketing team to scale
Design playbooks, templates, training sessions, and internal documentation that help PMMs operate more efficiently and consistently. Accelerate onboarding, reduce reinvention, and raise the overall quality bar for product marketing outputs.
Key Qualifications & Attributes:
- 5+ years experience in product marketing combined with strategy, operations, or program leadership-particularly in roles focused on scaling processes, frameworks, or cross-team alignment.
- Domain knowledge: 2+ years of experience across traditional finance, payments, DeFi, or crypto, with a demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up in new industries.
- Blockchain & fintech understanding: Solid grasp of blockchain fundamentals, including how stablecoins, payments infrastructure, or crypto rails work in practice.
- Proactive team player: You work well independently and thrive in small, collaborative teams. You are proactive in identifying what needs to be done, communicating clearly, and driving cross-functional execution.
- Cross-functional collaboration: You build strong cross-functional relationships to align on priorities, unblock execution, and deliver seamless customer experiences across product, sales, and marketing touchpoints.
