The Principal Product Marketing Manager will define go-to-market strategies, shape product narratives, enable sales teams, and translate customer insights into action to drive growth for enterprise software products.
The summary above was generated by AI

Assured is on a mission to modernize insurance. Claims processing (i.e. should we pay this claim?), while often overlooked, is the foundation of the entire industry. It’s currently highly manual, involving phone calls, faxes, and gut instinct, costing tens of billions of dollars a year. We can do better.

At Assured, we provide large insurers with the software solutions they need to win in a modern, technology-driven world. From self-service claim-filing software to backend fraud detection, we’re the engine that powers claims processing for some of the largest insurers in the world.

The challenges we face are deep and diverse, from creating digital experiences that provide comfort and clarity to claimants at their most stressed and vulnerable to orchestrating large-scale ML-driven decision-making on billions of dollars of claims payments, life at Assured is dynamic, collaborative, and rewarding.

We are looking for a founding Principal Product Marketing Manager – a senior individual contributor who owns the core narrative, use cases, and enablement assets that win and grow our largest accounts. You will be the hands-on craftsperson behind crafting and telling the story: the decks, the one-pagers, the battlecards, the demos, and the use-case maps that Sales takes into the best-of-the-best Insurance carriers in the US.

This role spans both of our motions. On 🏁 Land, you own the “Buy vs. Build” narrative and the field-grade objection library that wins Assured against internal AI builds, BPOs, and incumbent core systems. On 📈 Expand, you own the use-case map and expansion playbook that grow claim-share and process penetration inside the logos we already serve. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Customer-Facing teams, and Product to instrument and scale what works.

This is a maker’s seat for someone who writes exceptionally, thinks rigorously, and ships fast.
What You’ll Do

🏗️ Own the “Buy vs. Build” narrative – Build and continuously sharpen the CCO-grade pitch and one-pager; test it live in carrier meetings and iterate against real objections.

🛠️ Build the enablement kit – Create the objection library, vertical battlecards, and field assets that make every rep more effective in competitive deals.

🗺️ Map value penetration – Build the use-case map across the customer journey that defines where Assured expands next inside an account.

🎬 Demo the use case - Be the ultimate demo expert of all products and use cases.

📚 Own the expansion playbook – Scope per-logo expansion plays for top customers, partner with Customer and Sales to put them in flight, and ship expansion case studies and reference customers.

🎧 Run the listen tour – Stay close to Sales, Client Engagement, and Product; deconstruct decks against live deals so the narrative is always grounded in what actually moves buyers.

🤝 Co-pilot critical meetings beyond demos – Join high-stakes CCO conversations to pressure-test messaging and bring the field’s reality back into the assets.

⚙️ Feed the system – Partner with engineering so messaging, objections, and account context flow into our agentic workflows and named-account intelligence. Partner with Integrated marketing in order to feed the end-to-end customer journey pre-deal and post-deal.

What You’ll Bring

📈 4-6+ years in product marketing, including senior IC work owning narrative and sales enablement for a technical or enterprise product.

🧠 2+ years in business/strategy ownership roles in AI hyperscalers and/or leading -MBB- consulting firms.

✍️ Outstanding writing – you can produce a CCO-grade deck and a crisp one-pager that the sales team will actually use.

🤖 AI-first mentality: experience in building or using agentic AI workflows in your day-to-day.

🎯 Fluency turning technical capability into buyer-facing value, and a sharp instinct for competitive positioning.

🏢 Experience with enterprise or regulated buyers; insurance or claims domain knowledge plus.

🚀 Comfort working directly with sales in live deals, demoing and iterating fast on real-world feedback.

💪 High ownership, low ego, and a bias toward shipping.
