We design and develop software programs, conduct feasibility studies on engineering proposals and prepare installation, operation and maintenance specifications and instructions. What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing programs.

You will:
• Deliver assigned software / system interfaces with design and process across extended teams
• Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures
• Design, develop and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting software systems and equipment
• Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test environments and equipment and complete specifications and procedures for new products

Essential Requirements
• 8 to 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a master’s degree
• Advanced understanding of appropriate system architectures
• Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions, and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues
Desirable Requirements
• Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup
• Capability to influence others to achieve results

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $157k - $204k
