What you’ll be doing:

The Print Account Specialist position is dedicated to growing profitable print sales in contract through direct support for internal and external large and complex print customers and works to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction for programmatic and transactional print business. This role requires collaboration cross-functionally with sales, Implementations, Sourcing, Print Support, Vendors and other internal teams. It works in a fast environment coordinating multiple customer inquiries, responding to customers promptly with accurate information and collecting and consolidating various reports to manage customer accounts. In addition, the Account Specialist is accountable for identifying program improvements, both driving sales and operational efficiencies, presenting those improvements to sales leadership and providing training as needed. 

Duties include:

  • Manage transactional and programmatic custom orders, projects, and warehouse replenishment
  • Provide primary customer and sales support through various contact methods
  • Professionally intake, analyze, and resolve issues through execution of corrective action
  • Plan and prioritize a high volume of tasks to meet customer-driven deadlines
  • Provide timely communication and follow-up to external and internal customers throughout the order lifecycle
  • Accurately collect and communicate custom print order specifications
  • Collaborate with team, Sales organization, and customers to ensure effective program management
  • Leverage analysis of various reports to identify opportunities and present recommendations to improve sales and operational efficiencies
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of print database and systems knowledge
  • Maintain a customer-branded website and facilitate requests for new program item adds and changes
  • Organize and maintain up-to-date files, reports, and records
  • Drive retention and sales through customer interaction
  • Maintain effective follow-through in-line with standard operating procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in strategy development
  • Create customer-facing program documentation as required
  • Assess engagement with vendors/suppliers for the best interests of the company and customers

What you bring to the table:

  • Evaluate and adjust sales margins to secure wins and drive increased sales
  • Make independent decisions to resolve issues or prevent escalations related to print orders
  • Advocate for the best interests of the company and customers with vendors
  • Analyze Enterprise account orders to improve processes, enhance sales, and retain customers
  • Assess and decide on credits and rebills within guidelines, communicating the rationale
  • Service all print customers independently, ensuring optimal satisfaction
  • Collaborate on special accounts/projects to support process and programmatic contracts
  • Negotiate sales margins independently with customers
  • Determine order classification based on annual usage
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and associates

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships and tailor communication

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of relevant print/digital copy experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • Strong computer and web skills with ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
