About the Opportunity

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing industrial technology company developing AI-powered software that helps manufacturers optimize production performance through advanced real-time optimization and industrial intelligence solutions.

We are looking for a Project Delivery Engineer to support the deployment and implementation of industrial software across customer sites throughout the Americas. This is a highly customer-facing role that combines industrial engineering, automation, and technical project delivery.

You'll work directly with plant operations, automation, maintenance, IT/OT teams, and internal engineering specialists to ensure successful software implementation—from technical validation and commissioning through operational start-up and stabilization.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on industrial sites, solving technical challenges, and acting as the bridge between plant operations and technical delivery teams.

What You'll Do
  • Execute on-site implementation, commissioning, testing, and start-up activities at customer manufacturing plants.

  • Validate industrial connectivity, communications, signals, and data availability required for software deployment.

  • Support configuration reviews, operational validation, and implementation of industrial optimization solutions.

  • Act as the technical liaison between plant operations and internal Engineering, Data Science, and Project Delivery teams.

  • Gather operational requirements, identify technical constraints, and translate plant needs into actionable implementation plans.

  • Coordinate functional and technical testing alongside automation, maintenance, IT/OT, and engineering teams.

  • Document implementation progress, configuration changes, technical issues, and project milestones.

  • Collect operational data, logs, evidence, and feedback to support troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate project activities, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery.

  • Support customer training during solution rollout and facilitate knowledge transfer to maintenance and customer success teams.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practices across implementation projects.

What We're Looking For
  • Degree (or equivalent technical background) in Industrial, Automation, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years of experience delivering industrial technology, automation, commissioning, start-up, or implementation projects within manufacturing environments.

  • Experience working directly on industrial plant sites throughout project implementation and commissioning phases.

  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, instrumentation, SCADA, historians, OPC, industrial communications, and IT/OT environments.

  • Experience collaborating with plant operators, maintenance teams, automation engineers, and customer stakeholders.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during implementation and commissioning.

  • Strong documentation and project coordination skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary international teams.

  • Comfortable working independently while traveling regularly to customer sites across the Americas.

  • Professional English required.

  • Spanish is highly preferred for collaboration with teams in Spain and Latin America.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with industrial optimization or Advanced Process Control (APC) platforms.

  • Experience implementing industrial software or OT solutions in manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.

  • Background in real-time optimization, industrial analytics, or process optimization software.

  • Previous consulting or customer-facing technical implementation experience.

  • Experience within industries such as cement, mining, metals, chemicals, pulp & paper, or other process industries.

Why Join?

Our client develops AI-powered industrial software that enables manufacturers to optimize production, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation across complex industrial environments.

You'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge industrial technology directly at customer sites, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams while supporting large-scale manufacturing operations throughout the Americas. This role offers significant international exposure, hands-on project ownership, and the opportunity to contribute to the deployment of innovative industrial optimization solutions.
