While reporting to the Technical Manager, you will have responsibilities related to process reliability, troubleshooting process issues, supporting capital project submission and installation, and overall process reliability.  Responsibilities may also include operations support around optimization and efficiency.  Responsibilities may also include equipment reliability, PM optimization, assisting with maintenance activities, training production operators, documentation of processes and procedures. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work closely with the plant operations and maintenance to implement new procedures or processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and minimize costs.
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager and lab techs when products do not meet specification.
  • Support Trial activity within the plant such as providing expertise on press capabilities, capturing process data, and troubleshooting.
  • Work in teams to improve product quality, or to reduce costs or related projects.
  • Understand equipment and structure functionality and troubleshoot when not performing to expectations.
  • Work with operators to determine best process conditions, maintenance frequencies, etc. to ensure consistent operations.
  • Manage process monitoring by defining critical process parameters and establish acceptable ranges.
  • Analyze and facilitate resolution of process problems with process improvement team members.
  • Provide problem solving to plant related production and maintenance issues.

This is an onsite position located out of Waco, TX Facility

    We’d love to hear from you if:

    • You to have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or applicable experience.
    • We are looking for  5-10 years industry experience.
    • Good knowledge of rotogravure printing, slitting, and die cutting.
