Job Summary**

The Procurement Specialist for Primoris Energy Services will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for Primoris Energy Services' operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements.

Job Responsibilities**

* Execute end-to-end procurement processes, including requisition review, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and contract management for materials, equipment, and services.
* Source and pre-qualify new vendors, assessing their capabilities, financial stability, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, and other internal stakeholders to understand project needs and specifications.
* Monitor supplier performance, address any discrepancies or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Prepare and analyze procurement reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, procedures, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor records.
* Participate in strategic sourcing initiatives and contribute to the development of procurement strategies.
* Resolve disputes and claims with suppliers in a timely and effective manner.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the energy, construction, or heavy industrial sectors. Not required but would be helpful.
* Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
* Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract law, and commercial terms and conditions.
* Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
* CPM or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
