We are seeking a hands-on Issuance Leakage Analytics Lead to identify and quantify lost issuance opportunities across the customer acquisition and application journey. The role will focus on uncovering leakage points throughout marketing funnels, customer journeys, underwriting pathways, and demand generation processes to drive growth in originated accounts and funded volume. The ideal candidate possesses strong funnel analytics expertise, web analytics experience, and a consulting mindset capable of moving from problem identification to actionable business recommendations. 

Work Location: San Francisco, CA
Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in office)
Salary Range: $130K/Yr - $150K/Yr Base + Annual Bonus

Responsibilities
  • Identify issuance leakage opportunities throughout acquisition, application, approval, and funding funnels.
  • Quantify business impact associated with customer drop-off, under-penetration, and missed demand.
  • Analyze customer journeys across digital channels to identify friction points, conversion gaps, and behavioral patterns.
  • Conduct funnel diagnostics and root-cause analyses to isolate drivers of conversion loss.
  • Develop measurement frameworks to monitor funnel performance and leakage trends.
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Credit Risk, Operations, and Engineering teams to implement improvements.
  • Design and evaluate experiments aimed at improving approval rates, customer conversion, and funded volume.
  • Build executive-ready dashboards and business reviews tracking leakage, conversion, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate analytical findings into prioritized business recommendations with quantified impact estimates.
  • Support business case development for strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Funnel Analytics, Digital Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Conversion Optimization, Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, or Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages (SQL,Python, R, or similar) 
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with web analytics platforms such as: HEAP (preferred), Google Analytics etc.
  • Experience performing funnel analysis and conversion optimization.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills.
  • Ability to independently identify opportunities and influence stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research, or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from top-tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply.
