Position Title: Lead Product Architect


Position Description: IBS Software Americas, Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Architect to be responsible for designing and developing interface integration aspects of iTravel-Cruise, a product that offers next generation cruise vacation experience platform with external systems considering scalability, portability and performance aspects. Work closely with the customer to understand the business requirements and implement the solution from both functional and technical perspective. Perform continuous evaluation of different technology stacks, latest trends in the industry and suggest best practices or technology upgrade or new design models for the product to leverage its functional and non-functional capabilities. Be involved in technical deep dive sessions with lead product architects to discuss the future roadmap items, area of improvement, assessment of the product capabilities to improve the business values. Provide technical guidance and training to the developers and engineers on site. Responsible for doing Proof of Concepts (POC), conducting demos for the customer and collecting feedback from the customer for further tuning of the overall approach. Convert all the technical details into good Test-driven developments, which explains the end-to-end architecture, custom tailored framework components and their relationships. Manage User Interface design and development aspects of the product based on the functional requirements. Conduct technical workshops and work sessions with the customer for finalizing the integration approaches and rolling out the development plan. Work closely with enterprise technical experts to finalize the deployment model and environment set up activities, as well as assess and capture volumetric information to finalize the infrastructure cost. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days with manager approval.


Position Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related plus 8 years of work experience in design and development of travel platforms for the cruise industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1) Experience integrating travel platforms with other enterprise systems; 2) Experience designing and developing solutions in Java, Spring framework, Database technologies, and Client-side frameworks such as JavaScript and Angular; 3) Experience designing applications based on microservices-based architecture; 4) Experience monitoring performance of enterprise solutions and performing optimization of slow running services; 5) Experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud based solutions for mission critical B2B (business-to-business) systems; 6) Experience with project management tools including JIRA, and release and deployment pipeline tools including JENKINS; and 7) Experience coordinating with a variety of stakeholders to understand, execute, and get alignment on program vision and business goals.
