Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Product Designer to join our fast-growing team and help elevate the user experience across a diverse portfolio of CRM platforms, engineering applications, Revit add-ins and emerging AI tools serving the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Your work will directly influence tools used in high-impact, real-world contexts.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, takes full ownership of their work, and enjoys solving high-level design strategy challenges while executing with precision. We’re looking for a designer with exceptional craftsmanship—someone who can translate ideas into pixel-perfect interfaces, is fluent in industry-standard design tools, and brings strong visual and interaction design sensibilities.

You’ll be joining a positive, transparent, and highly collaborative team culture—and we’ll look to you to help maintain and strengthen that environment through open communication and a spirit of teamwork.

Essential Functions

  • Define User Needs (20%) - Collaborate with analysts and managers to conduct research, engage stakeholders, evaluate current interfaces and offer rapid design recommendations, translating findings into actionable user flows and detailed design requirements.
  • Rapid Prototyping (50%) - Build quick, iterative low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma to visualize concepts, explore multiple solutions, and validate usability and functionality before development begins.
  • Iteration (20%) - Continuously refine designs through rapid cycles of feedback, incorporating insights from users, stakeholders, and the development team to ensure the final product meets both business and user needs.
  • User Testing (10%) - Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to inform design improvements
  • Graphic Design (10%)  Design branded visual assets, including iconography, to ensure consistency across tools and products.

Position Requirements

  • Strong understanding of human-centered design and design thinking methodologies
  • Proficiency in design tools: Figma (required), Adobe Creative Suite, and Lucid (nice to have)
  • Solid visual design skills, including working with vector graphics
  • Experience leveraging third-party design systems
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with designing for BIM software (e.g., Revit)
  • Experience with XAML front-end coding
  • Experience with branding design
  • Familiarity with accessible design principles

What Success Looks Like

  • You quickly adapt to new tools and workflows.
  • You can drive 0-to-1 projects, navigating ambiguity to define user needs and flows.
  • You embrace constructive feedback and iterate rapidly to meet stakeholder needs.
  • You actively contribute to team culture, fostering trust and collaboration.

Travel / Relocation Requirements

  • Up to 5%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states
  • Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meeting for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.

Education/Experience

  • 3+ years of end-to-end product design experience with shipped, real-world products
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
