About the Role:This position supports the Product Development team with vendor setup, project tracking, document management, and cross-team collaboration. This role is heavily focused on retail private label and merchandise-based product development. It offers hands-on experience in market research, product launches, and online presentation, while fostering professional growth in the skincare, healthcare, and OTC fields.
Specific responsibilities:- Support the sourcing, development, and launch cycle on physical consumer private label products/merchandise - across skincare, healthcare, and OTC categories.
- Assist the PD team with packaging artwork by coordinating communication with cross-functional teams and manufacturers.
- Gain experience in market research, the product development process, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Help oversee the process for setting up new vendors.
- Assist the Product Development Director and team in tracking new and existing development tasks from concept phase to finished goods arriving in the warehouse.
- Help organize the creation and maintenance of all new items set up, and image quality review for PDPs on site.
- Maintain and update imperative documents that are crucial to our product development and launch process including Sku Master database & launch trackers
- Foster collaborative relationships with Site Ops, Creative and Merchandising teams to ensure online presence supports desired customer experience.
- Participate in focused learning and practical projects on key areas of product development.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of product development processes in skincare, healthcare and OTC industries
- Prepare and deliver a comprehensive project presentation that highlights major insights and contributions made to cross-functional teams upon completion of the internship.
