Our team is moving fast and expanding, and this is an exciting time to join us on our journey to shape the future of golf.

We’re looking for a Data Analyst with a curious mindset and self-starter attitude to excel in our fast-paced startup environment. Collaborating with our business and product teams, you'll dive into player data to uncover insights and identify growth opportunities for our game. If you’re passionate about leveraging data to drive impactful changes and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment where iteration and a bias for action are the name of the game, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and help elevate our game!

You Will

Collect, analyze, and interpret gameplay data to identify player behavior, preferences, and trends to inform the development of new features, gameplay mechanics, and content.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure that product decisions are data-driven and align with the company’s goals, providing insights on user engagement, retention, and monetization.

Respond to ad hoc requests from various teams (product, marketing, operations, business, and executive leadership) by providing actionable insights, custom reports, and data visualizations tailored to their specific needs.

Design and analyze A/B tests to assess the impact of new features, changes in game mechanics, or in-game monetization strategies, ensuring iterative improvements to the game’s success.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as daily active users (DAU), retention rates, and in-game purchases, helping to evaluate the game’s performance and guide business decisions.

Communicate findings regularly to stakeholders, offering data-backed recommendations for product enhancements, marketing strategies, or operational improvements.

You Are

Highly analytical with strong, proven data analysis and visualization skills (2-4 years preferred). Proficient in SQL, experienced with BI tools like Mixpanel/Amplitude, familiar with Excel and Python.

Naturally curious, excited about exploring player behavior and solving problems with data to help drive product improvements and decision-making.

An excellent communicator, adept at collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and comfortable working and communicating with senior leadership. You are able to convey insights clearly and regularly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proactive and adaptable, able to independently manage multiple priorities, handle ad hoc requests, and quickly adjust to shifting needs in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points

You have specific experience in the gaming industry, especially with products focusing on retention and depth of engagement

You play virtual, indoor and/or real, green-grass golf and love the game
