If you think you would be the right person to join our team working towards this goal, we would love to hear from you!

Role Overview

We’re building a next-generation platform that unifies multiple point products into a seamless, end-to-end solution. This is your opportunity to own some of the most strategic and visible initiatives in our product portfolio—cross-platform workflows that deliver real customer outcomes and differentiate us in the market.

As Product Manager for Cross-Platform Capabilities & Experiences, you’ll be at the center of innovation: integrating new data sources, shaping user experiences that span multiple components, and ensuring our platform delivers actionable insights in a simple, intuitive way. You’ll work closely with the Director of Product Management on strategic priorities while taking ownership of execution details—from defining workflows and user stories, setting performance goals, running betas, and reporting progress to executive stakeholders.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role with broad exposure, perfect for someone who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and delivering measurable results.

Candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones may make for the most optimal time zone.

Key Responsbilities

  • Shape strategy with leadership: Collaborate with the Director of Product Management and organization leaders to identify and prioritize cross-platform workflows that deliver the greatest customer and market impact.
  • Own execution details: Define end-to-end workflows, write detailed user stories, and establish performance and usability criteria.
  • Leverage AI for product development: Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate requirements gathering, user story creation, and specification development, ensuring clarity and completeness while improving efficiency.
  • Lead product integration efforts: Understand external data tools and their current management—define the best approach to onboard and process their outputs within the platform.
  • Drive customer validation: Plan and execute beta and early access programs, gather feedback, and prioritize fixes and enhancements.
  • Serve as the status lead: Report initiative performance to executive stakeholders, track progress against KPIs, and escalate risks or blockers as needed.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with engineering, UX, and other PMs to ensure experiences are intuitive, consistent, and aligned with key personas.
  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
  • Travel: 5%.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, ideally in platform or data-driven SaaS Enterprise products with a strong visualization/analysis component.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand APIs, data flows, and system integrations; prior technical experience is a plus.
  • AI-Driven Product Development: Hands-on experience using AI tools for requirements gathering, user story generation, and specification writing. Familiarity with prompt engineering and leveraging AI for accelerating product documentation and ideation.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled at interpreting market data, customer insights, and usage metrics to drive decisions.
  • Influence & Communication: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Execution Excellence: Highly organized with a track record of delivering complex, multi-component projects.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Familiarity with data pipelines and API ecosystems.
  • Background in user experience design principles.
  • Experience running beta or early access programs.
  • Exposure to AI-driven product management workflows or tools (e.g., for backlog grooming, persona development, or competitive analysis).

Why You'll Love this Role

  • Impact: Your work will directly shape the future of our platform and customer experience.
  • Visibility: Regular interaction with executive stakeholders and influence over strategic priorities.
  • Growth: Opportunity to develop deep expertise in platform strategy, data integration, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Innovation: Be part of a team that’s redefining how customers interact with our ecosystem.

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”.  It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”.  We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.

How We Work

At Magnet Forensics, we take a hybrid-flexible approach to support your productivity and work-life balance. If you’re within a comfortable travel distance to one of our offices, you’ll occasionally join us in person. How often you’ll come in depends on your department and team needs, typically ranging from weekly to monthly. These in-person moments help us build stronger connections, spark new ideas, and celebrate our successes together. Most days, you can choose what works best for you, while staying in tune with your team’s goals.

We’re excited to welcome you to our team and look forward to achieving great things together - both in the office and wherever you work best!

DEDICATE – We put our heart and soul into meeting the needs of our customers and helping them serve the people they protect.
