We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the productization of our Data Platform in the cloud and containerized environments. Unlike traditional PM roles, this position requires a hands-on approach with deep technical expertise. You will be responsible for driving the roadmap, defining requirements, and executing the manual and cloud-specific processes necessary to deliver a robust, enterprise-ready platform, running in the cloud. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 


  • Lead efforts to adapt and deploy the Hammerspace Data Platform across major cloud providers 
  • Define and document cloud-specific requirements, workflows, and integration steps 
  • Drive productization in containerized environments leveraging Kubernetes for scalability and orchestration 
  • Perform hands-on tasks required for cloud integration and productization 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across diverse environments 
  • Translate technical insights into product requirements and prioritize features for enterprise adoption 
  • Ensure alignment with customer needs and industry best practices 
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases 
  • Communicate technical requirements and product vision clearly across teams 
  • Support customer and field feedback loops to drive continuous product improvement 
     

Qualifications: 


  • Strong understanding of Cloud Providers such as AWS, Azure, Google and Oracle Cloud 
  • Strong understanding of enterprise or HPC hardware technologies (e.g., NVMe, RDMA, DPUs, GPUs, x86 servers). 
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and hardware/software integration. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field desired; MBA a plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $230,000. Actual compensation will be determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional/education experience, skills/abilities, internal equity, and budgetary considerations. In addition, Hammerspace offers a broad range of health plans for medical, dental, vision, life and disability. We also offer 401k plans and flexible time off.
