ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a Product Manager to own the end-to-end planning, governance, and execution of compliance related areas across Cost Basis and Tax Reporting.  This includes SOC 2 compliance, PII, security, regulatory compliance, Service Level Agreement (SLA), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), performance/scalability, and more.  You will define requirements in these areas and lead cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, measurable, and auditable service delivery.   You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, SRE/DevOps, Support, Operations, Legal, and Customer teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and market-differentiating service.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee complex enterprise integrations for security, compliance, and technical requirements across large B2B2C clients. 

  • Serve as primary stakeholder for both internal and external enterprise adoption initiatives; facilitate communication between teams, clients, and leadership. 

  • Collaborate with Engineering to define technical requirements and system architecture.

  • Write clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that cross-functional teams can effectively execute to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Drive change management and influence cross-functional priorities within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.

  • Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making in product development workflows.

  • Develop and track measurable objectives with clear scorecards to measure product success; Generate insights and actionable recommendations aligned to business goals.

  • Maintain organized Jira backlogs and comprehensive Confluence documentation.

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and compliance to ensure alignment and seamless, high-quality delivery.

  • Lead internal user meetings to demonstrate product capabilities and gather strategic feedback.

Education and/or Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required; advanced degree preferred.   

  • 1-2+ years of experience in enterprise environments; fintech, financial services, or complex enterprise technology solutions preferred. 

  • Hands on experience with enterprise security, compliance, and/or technical integration requirements. 

Required Skills/Abilities 

  • Ability to thrive with ambiguity and manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment.  

  • Ability to work effectively with engineering teams on technical product considerations. 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. 

  • Strong understanding of modern software development practices, APIs, and Agile methodologies. 

  • Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Miro.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 

    Strong decision-making skills with ability to challenge norms when necessary. 

Work Environment 

  • This job operates in a hybrid, office environment 3 days per week. 

  • Requires occasional travel (15%+) to collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders.
