Summary:

As a Product Manager, you will be working closely with a cross-functional team and end users to identify and solve problems that allow our customers to successfully coordinate care for patients. You will lead the design, prototype, test, and iterate on solutions that delight users and facilitate the success of critical customer initiatives. This role will also provide strategic product leadership across data-centric domains, including reporting, analytics, and data ingestion workflows. We’re looking for a Product Manager who deeply understands and can champion our internal and external customers in a complex B2B and B2C environment.  Our customers include state agencies, pharmacy chains and care centers from provider offices to acute care facilities.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Launch products and execute the entire product development lifecycle using agile methodologies.
  • Develop and manage long-term product roadmaps for more than one product, involving sales, marketing, implementations, clients, prospects, partners, and other groups.
  • Manage 1-2 Product Owners responsible for day-to-day sprint and backlog management.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and accountability for Product Owners working on reporting, analytics, and data ingestion, ensuring they understand customer needs, technical constraints, and delivery expectations.
  • Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and reporting teams to define requirements, prioritize data ingestion enhancements, and guide development of scalable data solutions.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance workflows through AI or automation tools (e.g., document summarization, task routing, or data parsing).
  • Stay curious about emerging AI tools and how they can streamline or enhance work within your function.

 

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

  • You understand the existing processes & tools for facilitating core use cases of the Bamboo Health system.
  • You are providing daily guidance to the team to plan and clearly understand deliverables, while coordinating with the broader product organization to contribute to the medium- to long-term roadmap.
  • You are triaging, prioritizing, and making tradeoffs daily, balancing competing needs & interests.
  • You have established clear expectations, communication cadences, and goals with your Product Owners to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • You have begun evaluating reporting workflows, data ingestion processes, and analytics needs within your area, identifying early opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify at least one opportunity in your role to pilot or apply AI or automation (e.g., streamlining a task, summarizing data, generating content).
  • Share one use case or insight from trying out an AI tool (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, Zapier) with your team or manager.

 

In 6 months…

  • You are working collaboratively with the agile team, internal stakeholders (operations, support, sales), and end users to drive effective execution and strategy.
  • You utilize user metrics and instrumentation to identify opportunities to unblock product growth and adoption.
  • You are actively guiding your Product Owners in defining reporting deliverables, documenting data transformations, and improving ingestion workflows that support customer-facing products, while aligning short-term data product priorities with upcoming roadmap milestones and customer deliverables.
  • Your Product Owners are operating with increasing autonomy, driving effective sprint execution and proactive backlog management under your mentorship.

In 12 months…

  • You manage the long-term product roadmap aligned to Bamboo Health’s KPIs, overall strategy, and key customer problem themes, including a forward-looking vision for reporting, analytics, and data ingestion that ensures the platform scales, meets emerging requirements, and delivers high-quality, accessible data.
  • You are recognized internally as a leader in the data product space, translating complex data needs into clear product direction and driving measurable improvements in reporting accuracy, data availability, and analytics capabilities.
  • You have developed and retained a high-performing Product Owner team, fostering strong execution, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement across product delivery.

What You Need:

  • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, other relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering software products used daily by end users.
  • Experience or familiarity with data ingestion pipelines, reporting tools, data quality considerations, or analytics workflows (either direct experience or through managing team members who specialize in these areas).
  • Ability to translate customer reporting and analytics needs into clear product requirements and long-term strategic plans.
  • Experience launching products, executing entire product development lifecycle, and developing long-term strategy for products.
  • A strong background in agile development methodologies and tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Comfort jumping into both the big picture strategy as well as on the ground details.
  • Experience mentoring peers or providing informal leadership or guidance to others - prior people management experience a plus.
  • Product Management experience at an enterprise SaaS company is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs), different healthcare data exchange formats ex, PMIX) and healthcare delivery generally, is a plus.
  • Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, or role-specific tools) to improve daily workflows.
  • A forward-thinking, curious mindset with an openness to experimenting with new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and creativity in designing solutions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions. 
  • The ability to travel periodically for work.
