Job Summary

We are hiring a Product Manager, ION to lead the roadmap and execution for the underlying forecasting and delivery capabilities that power Ascend’s performance and Impiricus’s industry leading Network of opted-in HCPs. This is an infrastructure oriented product that sits underneath the UX/UI.

This role is ideal for a technical product manager who is self-sufficient in navigating and analyzing datasets, highly collaborative, and comfortable working across data, delivery systems, and platform infrastructure. You will partner with Engineering, Data, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable capabilities that improve forecast reliability, network utilization, and operational efficiency while supporting continued product growth.

You will own core ION initiatives from definition through rollout, including controlled production enablement, instrumentation, and ongoing optimization.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Define and manage the roadmap for ION capabilities that improve network-level decisioning, forecasting, and delivery outcomes.
  • Translate business goals and operational needs into clear technical requirements, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Prioritize platform investments that balance near-term impact with long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Partner with Product leadership to align ION roadmap decisions to broader Ascend and RightChannel priorities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop external publications and industry content that communicate ION's innovation and reinforce Impiricus's position as a leader in AI-powered HCP engagement.
Technical Product Execution
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of ION initiatives across planning, requirements, implementation, launch, and iteration.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Data teams on technical design trade-offs, scope, and rollout sequencing.
  • Establish clear product requirements for data processing workflows, optimization outputs, and delivery orchestration.
  • Ensure robust documentation and repeatable operational processes across teams.
Forecasting, Delivery, and Platform Performance
  • Define product requirements for forecasting transparency, risk visibility, and delivery explainability.
  • Partner with teams to improve reliability and performance of daily decisioning workflows and production jobs.
  • Drive instrumentation and reporting for product health, forecast confidence, delivery outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve utilization and reduce manual effort through smarter platform behavior.
Rollout, Quality, and Operational Readiness
  • Lead phased rollout strategies (e.g., shadow/advisory/controlled enablement) to de-risk launches.
  • Partner with QA and Engineering on test strategy, simulation coverage, and production readiness criteria.
  • Define success and guardrail metrics for incremental enablement and broader adoption.
  • Ensure clear failure-handling expectations, recovery plans, and stakeholder communication during rollout phases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work across Product, Engineering, Data, QA, Commercial, and Operations to align priorities and execution.
  • Translate ION platform capabilities and performance outcomes into clear, business-relevant narratives that enable Commercial and client-facing teams to articulate Impiricus's decisioning value.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support internal enablement by translating platform capabilities into practical business impact.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of product management experience, with meaningful ownership of technical or platform-focused products.
  • Proven track record shipping complex, data-driven capabilities in SaaS, marketplace, or infrastructure-heavy environments.
  • Strong technical fluency with backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, and production workflows.
  • Experience partnering deeply with Engineering and Data teams on architecture-informed product decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience defining success metrics, instrumentation, and performance dashboards.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and execution skills in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

The base salary range for this role is $105,000-$150,000

Where you land within the range will reflect your skills, experience, and location, while keeping team parity in mind and leaving room for future growth.
