Who we areAbout Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Link team builds the premier consumer network for next-generation commerce, leveraging our base of 300M+ registered consumers to pioneer the future of Identity, Consumer Finance, and AI-driven transactions. While our foundation was built on high-conversion merchant payments and a flexible digital wallet, we are expanding far beyond. We are building the infrastructure for a world where AI agents transact on your behalf, stablecoins go mainstream, and identity dictates how money moves.

We think of Link as the wallet for the internet — and we're building for what's next.

What you’ll do

We are looking for an ambitious, impact-oriented product manager, who is passionate about scaling one of the fastest growing consumer financial networks. You will define and drive the strategy to create differentiated payment experiences for our merchants and consumers – giving consumers the freedom to pay with their desired payment methods across millions of merchants and merchants the benefit of increased revenue and lower costs without needing to contemplate the complexity of various payment methods.  You'll operate at the intersection of payments complexity and consumer product craft, bringing structure to ambiguous markets and setting the direction for a team working on one of Stripe's most strategic consumer bets.

Responsibilities
  • Define Link's local payment method strategy and roadmap, building localized experiences for merchants and consumers globally
  • Help establish an ambitious roadmap, from expanding core capabilities to leading nascent initiatives through to maturity
  • Engage directly with merchants and consumers, analyzing feedback and market trends to inform product development
  • Champion user insights within Link and represent user needs across the broader Stripe organization
  • Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate a comprehensive, frictionless experience for Link consumers across diverse payment methods
  • Set the pace for prioritization and execution, partnering seamlessly with Engineering, Design, Data Science, GTM, Marketing, and Operations teams to launch initiatives aligned with company-wide goals
Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally working on a mix of consumer-facing and enterprise products
  • High taste, design empathy, and sharp judgment — can put yourself in the shoes of consumers and be a steward of crafting great experiences
  • Rigorous with data — comfortable digging into metrics, writing SQL when needed, and thinking from first principles to deliver the right results
  • Desire for continuous product improvement; able to optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases
  • Ownership mindset — works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight consumers
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with a talent for distilling user problems into precise, actionable framing
  • Experience managing high-stakes external partnerships — aligning on milestones and executing integrations end-to-end
  • Thrives with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working on consumer financial products
  • Experience working on local payment methods
  • Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment
  • Experience working with GTM teams to bring a new product to market
  • Experience working on world-class consumer and merchant products at scale
