Lead a core product squad to define roadmap, conduct customer discovery, ship B2B SaaS features (AI preferred), measure adoption and retention, and collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams to improve contractor workflows.
Why join us?
Handoff is the AI agent that runs a construction company. We help remodelers automate estimating, streamline operations, and win more work - backed by real-time cost data, intuitive design, and workflows that “speak contractor.” With over 10,000 monthly active users and $6B in annualized project volume already flowing through our platform, we’re becoming the trusted partner for the people who build our homes.
We are backed by $25M+ raised from Y Combinator, Initialized, and Greycroft. Our team is distributed across hubs in Austin, São Paulo, and Buenos Aires, and we are deeply focused on building intuitive, high-impact solutions that make a real difference for our users.
We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the roadmap, strategy, and execution of a core product squad. In this role, you’ll lead engineers and designers to ship high-quality, high-impact features that improve contractor workflows, while connecting product decisions to measurable business and growth outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong product mindset with customer obsession and a high bar for execution. You should be energized by complexity, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced, AI-driven startup solving real-world problems for builders and remodelers.
What you’ll do
- Own the squad roadmap, strategy, and execution for a core product area.
- Conduct continuous customer discovery - interviews, prototypes, field visits - and turn insights into clear specs, user stories, and priorities.
- Partner closely with engineering and design to iterate quickly and deliver intuitive, polished experiences.
- Define adoption, activation, and retention metrics; set up tracking, analyze performance, and iterate based on data.
- Produce and update our roadmap and communicate product direction across leadership and GTM teams.
- Translate features into benefits and customer outcomes, supporting sales, marketing, and onboarding with clear collateral.
- Sweat the details - QA, polish, and validate every flow and edge case before launch.
- Apply Handoff’s product principles - simplemaxxing, mobile-first, AI-first, and customer-obsession - to every design, feature, and product decision
About you
- 3-5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in vertical SaaS.
- Experience building B2B SaaS products; with AI experience strongly preferred.
- Track record of shipping 0→1 or early-stage features.
- Strong skills in customer discovery, research, and ruthless prioritization.
- Proven ability to work hand-in-hand with engineers and designers in agile environments.
- Excellent writing and communication - able to produce crisp specs, epics, and roadmap docs.
- Excitement about construction, remodeling, and home services - genuine curiosity about contractors’ world.
- Bonus experience: CRM, project management tools, payments/fintech, AI-driven products, or PLG (product-led growth).
- Startup DNA - comfort in ambiguity, bias for action, stamina for fast-moving environments.
