Product Manager

SafeLease is an insurance technology company that specializes in commercial real estate.

We focus on insurance products for the self-storage industry but are rapidly expanding our suite of services. We believe traditional commercial insurance can be distributed faster and cheaper. To do that, we’ve brought the entire insurance value chain—distribution, underwriting, and reinsurance—under one roof to drive innovation in an industry that’s ripe for change.

Our technical team is growing! As we expand, we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to take the reins on some of our most critical product lines and help us build what’s next.

To drive our mission forward, this role will:

• Talk to users. A lot. You’ll lead discovery efforts to deeply understand our customers, map pain points, and find whitespace in the market.

• Make sense of signals. Use data, research, and feedback to turn insights into high-impact product strategies and roadmaps.

• Drive clarity and focus. Collaborate cross-functionally to define product requirements, align priorities, and ensure go-to-market readiness.

• Roll up your sleeves. Whether it’s shaping an MVP or running a launch plan, you’ll be hands-on from idea to execution.

• Represent the product. You’ll be an influential voice—internally and externally—for what we’re building and why it matters.

About You

• You’re customer-obsessed and product-led. You’re energized by solving real problems for real people—and can translate that into roadmap and execution.

• You’ve spent 5+ years in Product Management, ideally in a fast-moving, startup or growth-stage environment.

• You know how to build from zero-to-one and scale existing products.

• You’re confident navigating ambiguity and turning it into action.

• You understand what makes a great user experience, and can balance technical complexity with simplicity.

• You bring strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.

• You take ownership, move with urgency, and bias toward results.
