Location: This role can be based in one of our offices located in Austin, TX; Las Colinas, TX; or Ottawa, ON.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Product Manager with a passion for cybersecurity. This role involves developing and maintaining product strategy and roadmaps, conducting market research, driving product development, engaging with customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include using data-driven insights to make informed decisions, working with engineering to build product and field teams to ensure success in the market. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A background in technical roles such as software or sales engineering, or technical leadership roles is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap of product area. Align product goals with business objectives and market demands.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use this data to inform product decisions and strategic direction.

  • Product Development: Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to drive the development of new features and products. Ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

  • Customer Engagement: Act as the voice of the customer, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. Engage with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure successful product launches and to drive adoption and satisfaction.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the product strategy.

  • Analyst Relations: Build and maintain relationships with industry analysts to keep them informed about our product offerings and gather valuable insights from their feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry. Experience in technical roles such as software or sales engineering, or technical leadership roles is highly valued.

  • Product Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to use data to drive decisions and measure success.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Customer Focus: Passion for understanding and solving customer problems.

  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
