The Contribution You’ll bring to this Role: 

AccuformNMC is a leading manufacturer of industrial safety identification products. We are looking to hire a Product Manager to drive market strategy and grow sales in core product categories across our portfolio. The Product Manager serves a critical and strategic role by driving the execution of key business development, commercial, and product life-cycle management programs in support of sales and marketing initiatives across all channels. The position will be responsible for market research to identify growth opportunities; competitive analysis; pricing evaluation and financial analysis; margin improvement activities; new product development and product positioning.

What You’ll Do at Justrite: 

  • Develop deep understanding of our portfolio and positioning in the market for Safety Identification products to drive profitable growth for the business 
  • Drive multi-channel market strategy to segment and target customers in opportunity verticals  
  • Understand competitive forces; conduct periodic market evaluations; assist in creating new-product roadmaps based on solid fundamentals for opportunity 
  • Conduct category line reviews and support sales organization in identifying opportunities for cross-sell and driving product portfolio to market  
  • Collect and leverage voice of customer and voice of distributor to craft differentiated value propositions in key product categories and target verticals 
  • Build business cases to support investment in new programs; drive NPI projects to meet schedule milestones and tollgates; collaborate cross-functionally as appropriate to develop commercialization plans 
  • Create and manage pricing strategies 
  • Identify and drive product enhancements, and support quality improvements and cost reduction opportunities of assigned product lines. 
  • Support sales and participate in key industry events and customer meetings through presentations as appropriate to promote the product, services and overall brand 
  • Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams to develop marketing collateral in support of target verticals and ensure accurate conveyance of value proposition  
  • Miscellaneous duties in support of sales and marketing-related objectives 

Your Skills and Expertise: 

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum: 

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Product Management, product support, technical marketing, or related functions within a manufacturing or tangible goods organization. 
  • Four-year college or university degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business Management or equivalent preferred 
  • Experience in or marketing to Safety, Manufacturing, Construction, or Petrochemical industries a plus 
  • Ability to conduct research and analyze data to glean valuable insights and identify opportunities to grow sales 
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy to tangible action plans, with a keen understanding of process efficiency and product life cycle 
  • Experience working collaboratively with marketing, sales, manufacturing, finance and supply chain in a cross-functional team environment 
  • Ability to travel up to 30%-40% 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

  • Professionalism, business acumen – possess insight to larger business goals and objectives and understand how the role fits into overall strategy 
  • Ability to prioritize obligations, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include speaking in front of an audience and copy-writing. 
  • Proficiency in common software programs, i.e. MS Office suite, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Team player – flexible, able to adjust to shifting priorities; positive “can-do” attitude 

Compensation: 

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000. 

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance.   Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
