Summary:
DFIN is seeking a Product Manager to own and drive ArcDigital, DFIN's investor communications and e-delivery platform within the Arc Suite, supporting our Global Investment Companies business. This role is well-suited for a hands-on product manager who thrives in regulated environments, partners closely with engineering, and is energized by the intersection of compliance, digital delivery, and AI-powered innovation.
As a Product Manager, you will own key aspects of product discovery and delivery for ArcDigital, manage the day-to-day product backlog, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, high-quality releases that deliver customer value. You will play a critical role in positioning ArcDigital as the leading solution for investor communications as the SEC's e-delivery mandate reshapes the industry - and in bringing AI-driven capabilities that take this product to the next level.
Why join DFIN? • Make an Impact: Build products that support global investment companies and shape the future of regulatory technology • Lead Innovation: Work with talented teams solving complex, high-value problems at the intersection of finance and technology (including AI) • Grow Your Career: Join a company that invests in its people and values strong product leadership • Work Flexibly: This role is fully remote within the United States
Responsibilities:
Core Product Execution • Own and manage the product backlog for ArcDigital and related Arc Suite product areas • Partner with Engineering and Design to define requirements, write clear user stories, and drive sprint execution • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development, aligning near-term priorities with longer-term objectives • Act as a voice of the customer by incorporating customer feedback, support insights, and market input into product decisions • Balance regulatory requirements, customer needs, and technical constraints when prioritizing work • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support product launches, positioning, and adoption • Analyze product performance and usage data to inform prioritization and continuous improvement
E-Delivery & Regulatory Execution • Translate SEC e-delivery regulatory requirements into defined product features - including investor preference management, opt-out workflows, and audit-traceable delivery compliance • Own backlog items related to multi-channel distribution (print, eDelivery, web hosting) ensuring alignment with SEC rules (498/498A, 30e-3, Tailored Shareholder Reports) and readiness • Monitor regulatory developments (including the Improving Disclosure for Investors Act) and work with leadership to translate shifts into timely product requirements • Ensure ArcDigital's ADA/WCAG accessibility compliance is maintained and advanced as a core product capability
AI Feature Development & Innovation • Define and manage user stories for AI-powered features within ArcDigital - including ingestion accuracy improvements, hosted site QC automation, and ADA remediation workflows • Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to shape the AI product roadmap, ensuring features are scoped, prioritized, and delivered within regulatory guardrails
Product Growth Support • Support expansion of ArcDigital's Total Compliance Management (TCM) capability, deepening integration across the Arc Suite (data ingestion, workflow, billing, reporting) • Identify opportunities in adjacent segments such as TPAs, insurance companies, variable product issuers, and interval/evergreen funds as e-delivery and TSR regulations drive new demand
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field • 3-6 years of experience in B2B SaaS product management or a closely related role • Experience owning product requirements and working closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into executable work • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Familiarity with Agile development tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Aha! • Familiarity with SEC investor communications rules - including Rule 498/498A (Summary Prospectus), Rule 30e-3, Tailored Shareholder Reports (TSR), and ADA/WCAG accessibility standards - or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply regulatory requirements to product decisions • Experience working on or supporting digital distribution, eDelivery, or document lifecycle management platforms preferred • Demonstrated ability to write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for compliance-driven features • Understanding of AI-enabled product capabilities, or strong interest in building products in an AI-forward environment, including experience contributing to AI feature scoping or rollout in regulated environments • Experience in fintech, investment management, regulatory technology, or adjacent domains preferred • Product management certification is a plus
