Our mission is to help customers grow valuable media brands with their content. Join our diverse group of focused, hardworking professionals who are passionate about doing work that’s challenging and fun — and who strive to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

About the Role

Chartbeat, Inc. is the parent company of Chartbeat, Tubular Labs, FatTail, and Lineup Systems. Together, we’re shaping the future of media strategy and revenue. Trusted by the world's top media brands, Chartbeat, Inc. combines analytics that power smarter audience strategies with revenue solutions that simplify ad operations and accelerate monetization. As part of our OMS product portfolio, Lineup and FatTail provide media owners with an end-to-end order management solution built for ad sales teams across news, digital, streaming, B2B, OOH and other segments.

We're hiring a Content Strategist to turn deep product and market expertise into content that reaches buyers directly and drives demand for Lineup and FatTail. You'll work alongside our other Product Marketing Manager, who owns internal enablement: positioning, messaging, sales materials. You'll take that same product and market knowledge and shape it into content built for buyers: articles, reports, POVs, case studies, and more. You'll also serve as the product subject matter expert for our Content Marketing team on Lineup and FatTail, shaping their content strategy and planning from the earliest stages.

Key Responsibilities

Content strategy and ideation

  • Identify content angles that differentiate Lineup and FatTail in a crowded, relationship-driven market, grounded in competitive intelligence, customer research, and product knowledge.
  • Advise Content Marketing on what's worth making and why, ahead of their planning cycles, so domain expertise shapes the brief from the start.

Content creation

  • Write and structure long-form, client-facing assets: articles, reports, POVs, case studies, video scripts, event presentations.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate drafting and partner with a writer for polish when helpful.

Subject matter expertise

  • Serve as the go-to product and market expert on Lineup and FatTail for Content Marketing.
  • Stay aligned with the internal enablement PMM to keep external content and internal sales narrative consistent.

Handoff and collaboration

  • Deliver finished or near-finished assets to Marketing for distribution (social, email, promotion) and to Design for visual polish.
  • Work cross-functionally and move things forward independently.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience
  • Strong storytelling instincts. You can look at a messy, technical landscape and find the angle that makes someone care.
  • Comfortable writing and shipping content yourself, using AI tools or a writer for cleanup, and confident originating your own ideas.
  • Deep familiarity with the ad tech or media operations landscape: direct experience at an OMS or ad tech vendor, in ad ops or ad sales operations at a media company or publisher, or covering ad tech as a journalist or analyst, or similar.
  • Track record working cross-functionally with marketing, content, and product teams.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401K with company match (100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2%)
  • Fully Paid Parental Leave - 18 weeks for birthing parents, 12 weeks for non-birthing parents
  • Phone and internet stipend
  • Wellness, learning, and coworking reimbursements
  • Flexible work hours
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 11 paid holidays and December holiday closure
  • Annual In-Person Event
  • The compensation range for this position is between $90,000-$115,000 (Salary is negotiable and will be tailored to your experience, skills, and the value you bring to the role.)
