Mysten Labs believes that decentralized and open protocols are the bedrock of the internet of value. This is why at Mysten Labs, we are creating foundational infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of decentralized protocols based on blockchain technologies.

Mysten Labs builds foundational infrastructure for high-performance, on-chain applications. Within Mysten Labs, the Finance Business Unit focuses on liquidity, trading, and core market infrastructure on Sui.

Our On-Chain finance portfolio spans the full stack of decentralized financial infrastructure — from DeepBook, Sui's native central limit order book (CLOB); to Sui DeFi protocols; to Bitcoin Finance; to products designed for institutional participants.

We're hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager, On-Chain Finance to own positioning, narrative, and go-to-market across this entire portfolio. You'll work closely with product, engineering, growth, developer relations, and communications teams to drive adoption and shape how on-chain financial infrastructure is understood — by builders, traders, institutions, and the broader market.

This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role for someone who can operate both at the strategic level and in the execution details. You will be the connective tissue between our products and our markets, ensuring each component of our onchain finance stack has a sharp, differentiated story that resonates with its audience.

What You'll Do:
  • Own positioning and narrative across the portfolio. Develop a cohesive Finance Business Unit story while maintaining distinct, audience-specific messaging for DeepBook, Sui DeFi, Bitcoin Finance, and institutional finance — translating complex on-chain infrastructure into compelling narratives for developers, traders, and institutional counterparts alike.

  • Drive go-to-market execution for product launches and milestones. Lead cross-functional GTM planning across product, comms, growth, and developer relations — defining launch tiers, success metrics, and producing high-quality assets including positioning docs, website copy, launch blogs, conference presentations, and sales enablement materials.

  • Support institutional and partnership pipeline. Craft targeted messaging and collateral for institutional audiences — asset managers, trading firms, and exchanges — and partner with BD and Strategic Partnerships to ensure marketing supports deal development and co-launch opportunities across the BTC and DeFi ecosystems.

  • Maintain market and competitive intelligence. Track the competitive landscape across DEX infrastructure, DeFi protocols, BTC yield products, and institutional crypto. Synthesize insights from research, community feedback, and product usage to sharpen positioning and inform roadmap conversations.

What You’ll Have:
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years in crypto, DeFi, or financial technology.

  • Demonstrated experience owning GTM strategy and execution for technical or infrastructure products — not just campaigns.

  • Deep understanding of DeFi mechanics, order books, liquidity provision, and/or on-chain trading infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with Bitcoin Finance (e.g., BTC yield, wrapped BTC, L2s) and institutional crypto products is strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional written communication — you can write a developer-facing technical explainer and an institutional pitch deck with equal fluency.

  • Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and BD teams in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

  • Strong cross-functional project management skills; you can drive complex launches across multiple workstreams without losing the details.

  • Comfort with ambiguity — you can define the playbook when one doesn't exist, and adapt it quickly when the market changes.

  • Track record of building and scaling positioning frameworks across a portfolio of products (not just a single product).

What Success Looks Like
  • DeepBook is established as a stand-alone brand with clear positioning

  • DeepBook is recognized as the backbone of Sui DeFi

  • A consistent DeepBook narrative is used across launches, ecosystem messaging, and partners

  • DeepBook plays a visible role in shaping the Sui Stack story

  • Launches and integrations ship with strong GTM execution and adoption
