Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. This is a remote-friendly role, and we can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
As a Product Marketing Manager in the Developer Solutions team, you'll focus on awareness, adoption, and advocacy of Atlassian's developer-focused products and capabilities, such as Jira Software, Compass, Bitbucket, and Rovo Dev AI agents. You will report to the Head of Product Marketing, Developer Solutions.
You'll be the go-to expert on bringing our story to life through developer-focused events, both owned and third-party. From major conferences to hands-on workshops, your job is to ensure our presence and Atlassian branding resonates with technical audiences in authentic, creative, and scalable ways.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop the event strategy for developer-focused marketing-across Atlassian-hosted events (e.g. TEAM), third-party conferences (e.g., GitHub Universe, KubeCon), and community-led meetups.
  • Partner with Product, Evangelism, and Customer Lifecycle Marketing to align event messaging with product launches and business goals.
  • Craft compelling narratives and technical content for events, including session briefs, demos, presentations, and partner engagement.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to highlight use cases, customer stories, and developer workflows.
  • Work with Field Marketing, Content, Design, and Sales Enablement to grow the impact of event-driven marketing.

Your background:

  • 3+ years of B2B product marketing experience
  • Strategize and create messaging and customer-facing content (presentations, demo scripting, web copy)
  • Experience with developer tools, communities, and creating authentic experiences
  • Experience engaging developer audiences through storytelling, content, and live/virtual experiences.
  • Be passionate, with a no-B.S., can-do attitude who likes to make data-informed decisions
  • Thrive on teamwork and experience building relationships with peers and partners across marketing, product, sales, and more
