About Vantage:

At Vantage, we're passionate about building a cloud cost transparency platform that helps enable everyone – from developers to enterprises – analyze, report, collaborate on and optimize their cloud infrastructure costs. Both our CEO (a repeat founder) and CTO are passionate about cloud infrastructure. Having worked together at DigitalOcean, they are taking their combined knowledge to build and scale the Vantage platform. Together we are a high output team of ~60 employees based out of New York City (but embrace the remote-friendly lifestyle).

Our current customers include Square, FanDuel, Barstool Sports, PBS, Planetscale, Vercel and Temporal.

Vantage is also well capitalized and backed by outstanding top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Scale Ventures, Matthew Prince (Co-Founder, Cloudflare), Calvin French Owen (Co-Founder, Segment), Ben and Moisey Uretsky (Co-Founders, DigitalOcean), Stephanie and Nat Friedman (CEO, Github), Julia Lipton, Brianne Kimmel and others.

About The Role:

Vantage is looking to hire its first product marketer. We’re looking for a high-agency, developer-obsessed product marketer to own projects end-to-end. You will collaborate closely with engineering to build go-to-market plans for new products and features and determine how to best position Vantage as growth and competition in this space accelerates. This will include being an expert at communicating value in a credible way to a technical audience. You will lead key GTM initiatives with support from the rest of the marketing team in service of generating pipeline for our sales team.

What You Will Do:
  • Evolve the website and public facing marketing materials to align with the industry, Vantage’s ICP, and the product's unique differentiators.

  • Take the lead in driving content initiatives, particularly those less technical in nature like case studies, market landscape overviews, and thought leadership pieces

  • Work with Customer Success to execute customer case studies end-to-end from initial research to promotion and sales enablement

  • Collaborate with the Sales to build pitch decks, competitive analyses, and other assets that unblock sales

  • Lean on your product and customer understanding to plan and execute campaigns that generate inbound demand for Vantage

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing of technical products

  • Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging, with a keen eye for market opportunities and competitive landscape.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with past experience creating high impact content or delivering presentations that accelerate pipeline and sales.

  • Someone with taste and style. You should be able to help speak Vantage’s language and elevate it.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive measurable business impact.

  • A kind person

Pay & Benefits

The estimated annual US base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $175,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and education stipends.

At this time Vantage is only set up to employ in the United States.
