Authenticity is essential to our hiring process. Submissions or interview responses created with AI are easily identified and will remove you from consideration. The same applies to using AI tools during interviews—we want to hear directly from you. We may also use technology to detect AI-generated content. Please share your genuine experiences and perspective—it’s the only way we can truly get to know you.

We are seeking a Product Owner to lead two or more Agile Scrum development teams in building and scaling a healthcare clinical data warehouse to support competitive differentiation and expansion of MRO’s Curation Solutions and Clinical Analytics product offerings.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and communicate the product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes for the clinical data warehouse.
  • Lead roadmap development, prioritization, and release planning across multiple Scrum teams; manage dependencies and coordinate via Scrum of Scrums or scaled ceremonies.
  • Translate business objectives into initiatives, epics, features, and user stories; define clear acceptance criteria; maintain clear definition of ready (DoR) and definition of done (DoD).
  • Conduct ongoing backlog refinement, story mapping, and estimation.
  • Drive discovery and research: stakeholder interviews, data flow diagraming, hypothesis validation, A/B testing.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance (HIPAA/PHI, HITRUST) are embedded in requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery checkpoints.
  • Partner with clinical leaders, quality teams, IT, data engineering, BI developers, and compliance to ensure accurate implementation of quality measures and clinical logic.
  • Lead stakeholder management: align expectations, balance competing priorities, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and frequently.

  • End‑to‑end proficiency in Scrum: backlog management, story writing, acceptance criteria, refinement/grooming, estimation, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
  • Application of Agile metrics and practices: velocity, burndown/cumulative flow, WIP, cycle time, backlog health; risk/issue management; continuous improvement.
  • Experience partnering closely with Scrum Masters, Engineering, QA/Test, Data Governance, Security, and Analytics teams to ship increments reliably.

Healthcare & Clinical Analytics Experience

  • Hands‑on experience with clinical analytics use cases (e.g., quality performance, outcomes tracking, readmissions, care gaps, risk stratification, provider performance).
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality measures: CMS Core Measures, MIPS, HEDIS, NAACCR, NCQA; experience defining measure logic and validating outputs.
  • Familiarity with clinical coding and terminologies (e.g., ICD‑10, CPT, SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm) and their use in quality measure calculations and reporting.
  • Experience with clinical data warehouse design and delivery.
  • Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, including semantic models, row‑level security, and governance).
  • Strong understanding of data quality, reconciliation, de‑duplication, master data, and data lineage practices.
  • Ability to define report/dashboard requirements, wireframes, and usability criteria; familiarity with self‑service analytics enablement and governance.

Healthcare Data Interoperability

  • Practical experience with HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR standards preferred; understanding of EHR workflows and data models (Epic, Cerner) and associated integration patterns preferred.
  • Ability to specify and prioritize requirements for data acquisition, normalization, and mapping.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in data warehousing; 3+ years experience in healthcare or clinical data/analytics preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record working with multiple Agile Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Proven track record delivering data warehouse components and enterprise dashboards/reports to clinical and provider stakeholders.
  • Proficient in writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, feature specs, and nonfunctional requirements (security, performance, availability).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; adept at translating complex clinical/data concepts into clear business language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related) preferred.
  • Experience applying AI/ML to healthcare data (e.g., predictive risk, anomaly detection, NLP on clinical notes) a plus.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Accountability: Demonstrated ownership of decisions and results; consistently meets commitments and upholds responsibilities.
  • Market Opportunity Analysis: Guide strategic decisions; lead structured research.
  • Strategic Alignment: Connects product delivery to the strategic vision and goals of the business.
