About the Role

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a Product Owner – Marketing Technology to lead the development and governance of reusable marketing templates within Adobe GenStudio for Performance Marketing.

In this role, you will serve as the bridge between marketing stakeholders, design teams, and engineering, ensuring that campaign assets and email templates are translated into scalable, modular templates that enable marketers to generate high-performing content quickly and consistently.

You will own the product vision, requirements, and backlog for marketing template frameworks, ensuring alignment with brand standards, marketing goals, and platform capabilities across the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership & Strategy
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog for marketing templates and campaign enablement within GenStudio for Performance Marketing.

  • Translate business and marketing needs into clear product requirements and user stories for engineering teams.

  • Define standards for scalable, modular templates that support multi-channel activation and content variation.

Template Framework & Campaign Enablement
  • Define requirements for converting existing campaign assets (HTML emails, design files, UX specifications) into GenStudio-compatible templates.

  • Ensure templates support dynamic content, personalization, and campaign variants required for performance marketing.

  • Establish guidelines for modular layouts and editable content regions such as headlines, images, CTAs, and legal copy.

Platform Governance & Quality
  • Ensure all templates meet email client constraints and platform requirements for GenStudio.

  • Define validation and QA processes using tools like Litmus and Email on Acid.

  • Maintain standards for cross-client email rendering and accessibility compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing managers, designers, and developers to ensure templates align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.

  • Work with engineering teams to refine technical requirements and ensure templates integrate with existing marketing platforms.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and prioritize work across stakeholders.

Documentation & Enablement
  • Create and maintain template documentation and usage guidelines for marketing teams.

  • Define editable vs. locked components within templates to ensure brand consistency.

  • Support adoption by enabling marketers to self-serve campaign variants within GenStudio.

Required Skills & ExperienceProduct Ownership / Agile
  • Experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager within marketing technology or digital platforms.

  • Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.

  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments.

Marketing Technology Platforms

Experience working with one or more platforms such as:

  • Adobe Journey Optimizer

  • Adobe Campaign

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Marketo

  • Braze

Email & Template Ecosystem Knowledge
  • Understanding of HTML email structure and cross-client rendering constraints.

  • Familiarity with template-driven marketing systems, tokens, and dynamic content frameworks.

  • Knowledge of personalization and campaign testing workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe GenStudio for Performance Marketing

  • Familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem

  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) in digital marketing

  • Exposure to performance marketing metrics such as CTR, conversions, and experimentation frameworks

  • Experience managing template libraries or content frameworks
