About the Role

Ecotrak is looking for a Product Owner to help drive execution across complex B2B SaaS workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, thinks systematically, writes exceptional requirements, and partners closely with Engineering, UX, and QA to deliver scalable product solutions.


You’ll own product execution from intake through development readiness, translating business needs, operational workflows, and technical constraints into clear requirements, refined stories, and implementation-ready work.

What You Will Own
  • Own execution for complex product domains and workflows
  • Translate business and customer needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, and QA to refine and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint readiness activities
  • Maintain high-quality Jira artifacts so stakeholders clearly understand scope, readiness, priority, risks, and status without relying on undocumented verbal context
  • Identify edge cases, dependencies, risks, and implementation impacts early
  • Help simplify operational complexity into intuitive user experiences
  • Drive alignment across Product, Support, Customer Success, Sales, and leadership
What You Will Bring to the Crew
  • 3+ years of Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical Product experience in B2B SaaS or workflow-heavy platforms
  • Proven ability to independently own a product domain as a an individual contributor
  • Strong requirements writing skills including workflow logic, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and development-ready stories
  • Strong systems thinking across permissions, configurations, APIs, integrations, notifications, reporting, audit history, and UX impacts
  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and QA to improve delivery predictability and implementation clarity
  • Strong Jira discipline including backlog grooming, prioritization, refinement, sprint readiness, and story development
  • Experience working cross-functionally with UX/UI, Engineering, QA, Support, Implementation, Customer Success, Sales, and leadership
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clarify tradeoffs, align stakeholders, and push back constructively
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment with competing priorities and frequent releases
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Figma, Confluence, Postman, Swagger, analytics platforms, or similar collaboration tools
Nice to Have
  • Experience with facilities management, CMMS, field service, restaurant operations, or operational SaaS platforms
  • Experience with enterprise workflows involving approvals, invoices, work orders, vendors, assets, or reporting
  • Familiarity with API debugging, SQL, integrations, automation workflows, or backend process flows
