Diversity in all its forms is encouraged and celebrated at Bitmovin; everyone has a role to play in helping us shape the future of video.

Why us?

We are hiring our first Product Solutions Engineer for Observability in the Americas. You sit at the intersection of Product and GTM. You will be the technical face of Observability in front of prospects, the voice of the US market back to the product team in Europe, and the person who turns early traction into a repeatable motion.
You will report to the Director of Product and partner closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and the engineering team in Europe. This is a great role for a Solutions Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer who wants to grow their product influence, or a PMM who wants to get more hands on in deals. Equally if you're a Product Manager who loves the market-facing aspects of your role, you could be a great fit.

What success looks like at 12 months
  • A named-account pipeline established across the top streaming and media customers in the Americas
  • Two or more OEM or embed partnerships signed
  • Field insights feeding a quarterly product roadmap the engineering team trusts
What you'll do
  • Own Observability's market development in the Americas: target accounts, demos, technical pre-sales, and proof-of-value engagements
  • Run product demos and discovery sessions. You are the product expert in the room.
  • Source and shape OEM and embed partnerships that put Observability in front of new audiences
  • Translate customer signal into prioritized roadmap input for the engineering team in Europe
  • Represent Observability externally at conferences, in webinars, and through written thought leadership
  • Use AI tooling in your day-to-day (demo prep, account research, competitive teardowns) to move faster than a traditional field PM
What can you bring
  • 3+ years in a field-facing role: Field PM, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Technical PMM
  • Comfortable owning a live demo and a technical discovery call without a backstop
  • Technical depth in either observability / data tooling (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, Honeycomb, etc.) or video streaming and media tech
  • Track record of turning customer conversations into product decisions
  • Willing to take EU-morning calls a few times per week and travel ~25–30%
  • Experience launching a new product or category into an existing customer base
  • Background working with European engineering teams
  • Hands-on use of AI tooling in your workflow today (Cursor, Claude, custom agents, etc.)
  • Prior exposure to OEM, embed, or partnership-led GTM motions

You don’t have experience with all the points above? Don’t worry, we will support you with learning, training, and coaching on the job.
