About the Role

As the Product Solutions Lead at Port, you'll bridge the gap between our platform's technical capabilities and the real-world business solutions our customers need. You'll be the authority on how Port solves specific enterprise challenges, translating our platform's capabilities into compelling solution narratives that resonate with technical decision-makers.

You'll work at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, ensuring our go-to-market teams can effectively communicate the value of Port-powered solutions while providing critical feedback to our product team about market needs and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become the subject matter expert on Port's solution offerings (Engineering Onboarding, Software Standards, Resource Self-Service, Release Management, Incident Management, Cloud Cost Optimization, etc.)
  • Develop comprehensive solution architectures, including technical guides and implementation patterns
  • Create and maintain solution demonstrations that showcase Port's value in specific use cases
  • Conduct competitive analysis and maintain knowledge of market alternatives
  • Enable the sales team through training, documentation, and solution positioning
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop solution-specific messaging and campaigns
  • Build and maintain the solutions section of Port's website with compelling technical content
  • Provide structured feedback to the Product team on solution gaps and competitive challenges
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities for strategic opportunities requiring deep solution expertise

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technical product marketing management, solution architecture, technical sales, or similar customer facing technical roles
  • Proven background in developer and devops tools, cybersecurity, or enterprise software ecosystems
  • Experience creating and delivering technical demonstrations and presentations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and buyer personas
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
  • Knowledge of competitive analysis and positioning in B2B software
  • Experience with web content creation and technical marketing preferred
  • Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to create clear, compelling documentation
