We are currently looking for a Production Associate to join our Beckett team. In this role, you will complete the processing of submissions by creating custom wells and encasing trading cards in plastic cases using machinery. The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced production environment operating equipment, while handling delicate, high-value collectibles safely.

You’ll report to the Operations Manager, Beckett and work from our Plano, TX office.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle delicate, high-value, collectibles with the utmost care and attention

• Operate electronic equipment to sonically weld trading cards in a plastic weld following a multi-step process

• Learn the various sizes of cases to ensure the proper one is being used and create custom sized wells when necessary

• Maintain and upkeep the inventory of plastic cases/wells

• Inform operations manager of inventory shortages, damaged inventory, machine maintenance and any order issues

• Quality control of encapsulated collectibles

• Light data entry into computer database

• Prepare and package encapsulated items for shipment 

• Work overtime hours, including weekends as business needs arise

• Safely handle and account for valuable merchandise, ensuring its security and proper handling throughout all process stages

• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

• Must be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently, prioritizing what work needs to be done first

• Trading Card knowledge a plus but not required

• Strong organizational skills to achieve production goals and maximize productivity

• Ability to work in and contribute to a positive team environment, balancing team and individual responsibilities

• Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to quickly and accurately identify and resolve problems with limited supervision

• High school diploma or equivalent 

Physical Requirements:

• Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time

• Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks

• Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 pounds

• Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Hourly Rate: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $17.50. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
