The Production Planner will collaborate across the organization to communicate and implement business operations plans and strategies throughout the product lifecycle, including new product introductions (NPI). This position also plays a critical role in coordinating supply chain activities, monitoring demand fulfillment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through project-based work ranging from short-term assignments to long-term strategic efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end supply chain and production plans that balance customer delivery requirements with inventory objectives.
  • Coordinate material requirements, labor resources, and test capacity to ensure production readiness and customer demand fulfillment.
  • Ensure the availability of finished goods to support high levels of customer service and order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Production, R&D, Finance, Materials, Logistics, Service Parts, Customer Service, and external manufacturing partners to develop and execute production and shipment plans.
  • Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to manage inventory, supplier schedules, workflows, and planning activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers (CMs), and original design manufacturers (ODMs).
  • Support new product introductions, product transfers, and supply chain setup activities, ensuring appropriate materials, labor, and testing capacity are available.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across single-site, multi-site, or global operations as required.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to support indirect sales channels and address customer escalation needs.
  • Participate in and lead projects of varying scope and duration aimed at improving operational performance and supply chain effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in production planning, supply chain planning, materials management, manufacturing operations, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory management processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI) and manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of global supply chain processes and inventory management practices is a plus.
  • APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification preferred.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $66,400.00 - $103,750.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
