ABOUT HINT

Back when we started Hint in 2005, our motto was Drink Water, Not Sugar. Our mission to this day is to help people fall in love with water — delicious fruit-infused water — so they can live healthier lives.

Twenty years on, we’ve attracted our share of imitators, but no one has been able to match that touch of true fruit flavor in every bottle of Hint. The craftsmanship we put into creating flavors that fully reflect their fruit origin is unparalleled. And with no sweeteners, no preservatives, and zero calories, it's no wonder our fans have turned Hint into an obsession.

Today, Hint is sold in over 30,000 stores all over the United States. We feature dozens of amazing flavors — including perennial favorites Blackberry, Watermelon, and Cherry — as well as limited edition smash-ups, and exclusive bundles, all available at drinkhint.com, Amazon, e-Retail account, and major retailers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Productivity Manager, you will play a critical role in maximizing route efficiency, sales productivity, and volume growth across Hint’s field sales organization. This role sits at the intersection of HQ analytics, routing strategy, and field execution, working closely with Regional Sales Managers, the National Account Team, and the Regional Account Team.

You will own the analysis and optimization of route volumes, store prioritization, zone/division performance, and delivery efficiency, ensuring our resources are deployed where they drive the greatest return. This is a highly data-driven role for a strategic operator who understands DSD environments, routing economics, and sales execution at scale.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead routing optimization to improve route efficiency, delivery productivity, and volume growth across zones and divisions
  • Analyze route and store-level data to identify volume opportunities, white space, and underperforming routes
  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers to optimize route structures, delivery schedules, and store coverage
  • Develop and maintain store prioritization lists based on volume, velocity, and strategic importance
  • Collaborate with National and Regional Account teams to align routing strategies with retail priorities
  • Oversee promotional execution and communication between HQ and field teams
  • Benchmark and evaluate best-in-class routing and coverage models
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs including route productivity, sales per stop, distribution gains, and execution compliance
  • Manage third-party outsourced execution partners
  • Utilize Repsly (CRM) to track execution, store coverage, route compliance, and field performance
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and sales tools to support field teams and leadership decisions
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to align routing decisions with business priorities
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights and presentations on routing performance, risks, and opportunities to leadership
  • Continuously refine routing strategies to support growth across retail, DSD, and e-commerce channels

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of experience in routing optimization, productivity management, delivery operations, or DSD sales operations
  • Strong understanding of route economics, volume optimization, and retail execution
  • Experience partnering with Route Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and National Account teams
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable routing and sales strategies
  • Hands-on experience with Repsly (CRM) or similar field execution tools
  • Familiarity with routing and coverage models and/or managing third-party outsourced execution
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills, including dashboard and KPI development
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across HQ and field teams
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Benefits
  • Base salary of $65,000-85,000. Actual salary offer may vary based on location and work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
  • Bonus Eligible
  • Unlimited Vacation
  • Sick Days
  • Up to 95% of the employee and dependent healthcare premiums paid for by the company
  • Life insurance (company-paid and voluntary)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • 401K (regular and Roth)
  • Up to $150/month health and wellness reimbursement
  • Up to $100 monthly towards your cell phone and $50 monthly towards Internet (if applicable)
