The Twin Lakes YMCA in Cedar Park, TX is hiring a full-time Sports Program Administrator for our youth sports department. 

Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable. A background in coaching is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates must enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude! Must be available to work weekends (Friday evening and Saturdays) when sports leagues are in-season.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact/respondent for related emails and voicemails
  • Assist with program registration forms, rosters, updating scores in tracking system, and provide weekly program registration reports
  • Assist with distribution of supplies, uniforms, equipment, etc.
  • Assist with recruiting and tracking of volunteer coaches and coaching applications
  • Assist with staff scheduling
  • Assist with staff recruitment and interview scheduling
  • Assist with staff training
  • Assist with Specialty Camps as needed
  • Support coaches and staff during sports programming
  • Set up facilities and ensure that the sports site is safe and clean

Job Requirements:

  •  Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with program development and implementation
  • Must hold a high school diploma or GED
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willing to be certified within first 30 days of employment
  • Be willing to uphold the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history check and sex offender registry check, and reference checks

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including pay commensurate with skills and experience; Medical/Dental/Vision options, LTD/Life Insurance, Paid-time off for Vacation, Sick and Holiday, Tuition Assistance, Family Membership to YMCAs in Central Texas, discount for Child Care programming and 12% company paid Retirement after two years of full-time service and meeting vesting rules.

Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.00/hour
